WP1 Iron-based material preparation
Objectives
- to assure a constant sample supply for WP1-WP4 throughout the whole project duration.
- to search for the best preparation methods and thermodynamic conditions by using the fundamental feedback from WP2-WP6.
- to include basic characterization techniques like X-ray, SEM, resistivity, dc/ac magnetization that are necessary to assess the quality of the samples.
Based on the Exchange of Letters, JST and EC DG RTD have agreed to establish a new scheme for coordinated funding of Japanese-EU coordinated research projects (see European Community press release IP/09/1844). After consultations between JST and EC DG RTD, “Superconductivity” has been selected as the field of research for the coordinated funding scheme.
